Richmond Bicentenary acknowledges the traditional owners of the country encompassing today’s Richmond and the Coal River Valley, the Mumirimina people of the Oyster Bay nation, who were devastated by British settlement. We also respectfully recognise the continuing connection of the Tasmanian Aboriginal Community to their unceded lands and waterways since the beginning of time, and pay respect to their Elders, past and present.
